There is difference between inner chatter and inner voice. Inner chatter is ongoing monologue or in some cases dialogue which we can locate as coming from outside of ourselves.

There is difference between inner emotion and inner voice. Inner emotion it’s felt as coming from our stomach, chest or throat area and the voice is coming from part body sensation.

Inner voice is coming unexpectedly, it’s felt as a full body sensation and it’s originated from inner sensation

Once you have established location of inner sensation, anchor it visually, auditorily and/or kinesthetically so that in the future you may access the source easily. Keep in mind that you might have several inner sensations, each attached to different aspect of your life such as relationships, work, play, health, money.
