📄 ABSTRACT OF ENOUGH IS ENOUGH PATTERN
#

The phrase “Enough is enough” is a powerful expression of frustration and determination. It is a declaration that someone has reached their limit and is no longer willing to tolerate the current situation. The Enough is Enough pattern is a common psychological phenomenon that can be seen in a variety of contexts, from personal relationships to social activism.

When someone reaches their Enough is Enough point, they are typically motivated by a strong desire to change their situation. This can be a positive or negative force, depending on the individual’s goals and intentions. On the one hand, the Enough is Enough pattern can lead to positive outcomes, such as leaving an abusive relationship, quitting a demanding job, or standing up for a cause one believes in. On the other hand, it can also lead to negative outcomes, such as impulsive or reckless behavior, violence, or even self-harm.

Despite the potential risks, the Enough is Enough pattern can be a powerful force for good. It can be a catalyst for positive change, both on a personal and societal level. When people reach their Enough is Enough point, they are often willing to take risks and make sacrifices that they would not otherwise consider. This can lead to breakthroughs and progress that would not have been possible otherwise.

🏛️ ORIGINS AND PRINCIPLES OF ENOUGH IS ENOUGH PATTERN
#

The origins of the Enough is Enough pattern can be traced back to the earliest human societies. The person has reached a point where they are completely fed up with their current situation and are determined to make a change. They have made a conscious decision to change, developed a plan, and taken action. They are also prepared to be persistent in the face of setbacks.

The Enough is Enough pattern is based on the idea that people have a natural tendency to resist change. This is because change can be uncomfortable and disruptive. However, the Enough is Enough pattern suggests that people can overcome this resistance by reaching a point where they are completely fed up with their current situation and are determined to make a change.

Once someone reaches their Enough is Enough point, they are typically motivated to take action to change their situation. This can be a difficult and challenging process, but it is often the only way to achieve lasting change.

Here are some examples of how the Enough is Enough pattern can be used for personal change:

  • A smoker who is tired of feeling unhealthy and spending money on cigarettes could reach their Enough is Enough point and decide to quit smoking.

  • A person in a toxic relationship could reach their Enough is Enough point and decide to end the relationship.

  • A person who is unhappy in their job could reach their Enough is Enough point and decide to quit their job and go back to school or start their own business.

Psychological theories of the Enough is Enough pattern

There are a number of psychological theories that attempt to explain the Enough is Enough pattern. One theory is that it is motivated by a desire to maintain homeostasis, or a state of balance and equilibrium. When people are subjected to stress, anxiety, or other negative experiences, their homeostasis is disrupted. This can lead to a number of negative consequences, such as physical and mental health problems. The Enough is Enough pattern can be seen as a way to restore homeostasis by removing the person from the stressful or negative situation.

Another theory is that the Enough is Enough pattern is motivated by a desire for self-preservation. When people feel threatened or unsafe, they will do whatever it takes to protect themselves. This can include taking action to change their situation, even if it means taking risks or making sacrifices.

Finally, the Enough is Enough pattern can also be motivated by a desire for justice and equality. When people see injustice and inequality, they may feel a moral obligation to take action. This can lead them to stand up for what they believe in, even if it means facing opposition or persecution.

The Enough is a reminder that we all have the power to stand up for what we believe in and to fight for a better future.

PRINCIPLES OF ENOUGH IS ENOUGH PATTERN
#

The Enough is Enough pattern is based on the following principles:

  • People have a natural tendency to resist change. This is because change can be uncomfortable and disruptive. Identification of the problem: The first step is to identify the problem that you want to change. This could be anything from a bad habit to a toxic relationship to a career that you are no longer passionate about.

  • People can overcome their resistance to change by reaching a treshold where they are completely fed up with their current situation and are determined to make a change. Decision to change: Once you have identified the problem, you need to make a conscious decision to change. This means being honest with yourself about what you want and being willing to put in the work to make it happen.

  • Once someone reaches their Enough is Enough point, they are typically motivated to take action to change their situation. Development of a plan: Once you have decided to change, you need to develop a plan for how you are going to do it. This plan should be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.

  • Action: The most important step is to take action. This means implementing your plan and adapting, making the changes that you need to make.

  • Change is not always easy, and it is important to be persistent. There will be setbacks along the way, but you need to keep moving forward.

In addition to these general principles, there are a few specific things that people can do to increase their chances of success when using the Enough is Enough pattern to change their lives:

  • Be honest with yourself about what you want. What is the real reason that you want to change? Once you know what you want, you can start to develop a plan for how to achieve it.

  • Set realistic goals. Don’t try to change too much at once. Set small, achievable goals that you can build on over time.

  • Create a support system. Talk to friends, family members, or a therapist about your decision to change. Having people who support you can make a big difference.

  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you are struggling to change on your own, there are resources available to help you. There are books, websites, and support groups dedicated to helping people change their lives.

Here are some examples of how the Enough is Enough pattern can be used to achieve specific personal goals:

  • Quitting smoking: A smoker who is tired of feeling unhealthy and spending money on cigarettes could reach their Enough is Enough point and decide to quit smoking. They could set a goal to quit by a certain date and develop a plan for how they will do it. They could also create a support system of friends and family members who are willing to help them through the process.

  • Losing weight: A person who is unhappy with their weight could reach their Enough is Enough point and decide to lose weight. They could set a goal to lose a certain amount of weight in a certain amount of time. They could also develop a plan for how they will achieve their goal, such as by eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly.

  • Getting out of debt: A person who is struggling with debt could reach their Enough is Enough point and decide to get out of debt. They could set a goal to pay off their debt by a certain date. They could also develop a budget and plan for how they will pay off their debt. They could also seek financial advice from a professional.

The Enough is Enough pattern can be used to achieve any type of personal goal, as long as the person is willing to put in the work. It is a powerful tool for change that can help people live happier and healthier lives.

“I’m not going to put up with this anymore.” - Anonymous

Vlad: “Hello, What can I do for you today?”

Client: “I have tried in vain repeated times to make a change and I always come to the beginning. It’s as if I am running in loop.”

Vlad: “To clarify. You have made the change for a short period and come back to beginning or You have tried in vain to make a change and didn’t get any result?”

Client: “I have changed for several weeks and then come back with a different methods of change.”

Vlad: “OK. So you know how to change and there is a component of your behavior which your body, mind and soul prefer which is providing something useful and you didn’t integrate this positive intention into the new change. Have you ever felt enough is enough, I will no take it any more and make lasting change?”

Client: “Last year I started going to the gym.”

Vlad: “How did you make it happen?”

Client: “I didn’t feel good. My doctor was recommending exercises. My partner is fit. I needed to change. I have searched and got all data. I took a decision in four months I have loosed 22 kg and reach 74 kg of weight. I bought a membership to the gym, some clothes and shoes and in 4 months had lost 22 kg. Since than I oscillated between 73 and 76 kg and there is my treshold which I will not pass.”

Vlad: “I do understand that you have taken final decision and what’s happened before that?”

Client: “I repeatedly felt worse, experienced health issues, searched for answers, and each time I told myself: ‘That’s it’! Than I put all those memories together and I felt that ‘I can’t and will not take it any more!’ I took a decision now, in the future, stepped in, and from the point of the future saw what steps I have taken from past now to reach future now! Than I just follow the journey, knowing that the journey is what matters. There were times I was tempted for dessert or leave gym for few days, bus something inside of me stirred me off. Even though that for instance in vacation I didn’t go to a gym for a luck of such. I was still running. I know that I will be lean and fit till rest of my life as I adhere to healthy food, exercise and good company.”

Vlad: “Have you got all necessary data about your present change or are you in doubt about some issues?”

Client: “I have searched thoroughly and got all I need.”

Vlad: “Allow the part responsible for your present behavior take over, and ask this part: ‘What it is the positive intention of this behavior? Then relax and wait for the response. Find a positive intention sensation in your body. That’s right. Breathing deeply in and out.”

Client: “I got message from my gut sensation, in the center of my body, the navel level, size of small melon, very heavy, cold, with metal texture on surface, inside it’s like a gum and in the center it’s heavy, unbreakable diamond size of pin pong ball.”

Vlad: “That’s great. And now ask this sensation and positive intention: ‘What do you want? Relax and wait for the response which can present itself in the words, images or sensation. That’s right. Breathing deeply in and out.”

Client: “I got message ‘Better the devil you know’”

Vlad: “And you are right. Better the devil you know, as you know more less what you can expect. Can you ask the part if it’s appropriate for you to make change, learn through mistakes and found out new things? And if so, can this part generate three different paths which are most immediate and effective and which will satisfy the positive intention ‘Better the devil you know!’”

Client: “I got very loud YES!!!”

Vlad: “Let’s play: ‘Imagine repeatedly feel worse and worse, imagine experiencing health issues, imagine experiencing other issues if your current status quo continue. Go to the future and see time passing as you experience heaviness increasing with each and every time you have leave the decision to change. Do you feel more alive or less alive? You have searched for answers, and each time you have told yourself: ‘That’s it’! Now! Put all those memories together and I feel that you can’t and will not take it any more!’ Take a decision now, in the future, allowing the part to integrate chosen path which will satisfy the positive intention, step in, and from the point of the future see what steps you have taken from past now to reach future now! Than follow your journey, knowing that the journey is what matters. There will be times you’ll be tempted for a quick relief, but something inside of you will always stir you off. You know that you will be on the path to fulfillment and through your own development you may assist others reach their potential. Take all the time you need to assemble the necessary changes and adjustments and when you are ready come back here and now.”

Client: “I don’t know what’s just happened, but I feel different.”

Vlad: “What’s happened with sensation of positive intention?”

Client: “It’s like lift up and I know that I have changed as I can feel it.”

Vlad: “What about the future? Did something changed?”

Client: “Before I never saw myself in the future and now I know that not only I have changed today. I see myself being resilient and caring the change which is evolving to better and better through the years. I can see as well as helping others using mu skills.”

Vlad: “Great! That’s a good start. Let’s play a bit more. We journey Wholeness work.”
